Rs 199 BSNL Postpaid Plan
BSNL’s 199 rupee postpaid plan is the most affordable option. There is an activation fee of Rs 100, and security deposits may also be required.
It includes unrestricted voice conversations, 25 GB of data each month, and 75 GB of data that can be carried over from month to month. You can send up to 100 messages per day.
Rs 399 BSNL Postpaid Plan
The Rs 399 postpaid package doubles the data benefits of the Rs 199 plan (from 25 GB to 70 GB) and triples the data rollover (from 10 GB to 210 GB).
There is also a Rs 100 activation fee. Unlimited talk time and 100 daily SMS are included.
Rs 525 BSNL Postpaid Plan
The cheapest postpaid plan from BSNL that includes family features is Rs 525. There is no additional charge to add a second SIM card to your plan.
You’ll have access to 85 GB of data with 255 GB of rollover on your primary SIM and 10 GB of data on your secondary SIM. Unlimited calling is available on both SIMs, but only 100 SMS per day is available on the primary SIM, while the secondary SIM only offers 20 SMS per day.
Rs 798 BSNL Postpaid Plan
Two more family SIM cards are included with the Rs 798 postpaid package.
Data usage is capped at 50 GB each day, with a maximum of 150 GB carried over from month to month. The secondary SIMs share a 100 GB monthly data cap. Each SIM card has access to 100 daily text messages and unlimited calling.
Rs 999 BSNL Postpaid Plan
With the Rs 999 postpaid package, you can add three more SIM cards for use inside your family.
The primary SIM gets 75 GB per month with 225 GB of rollover, and the secondary SIMs get 75 GB per month each. Each SIM card comes standard with 100 daily text messages and free domestic and international minutes.
Rs 1525 BSNL Postpaid Plan
One SIM card per family is included in this package. What really sets this plan apart, though, is the fact that the primary SIM card can use as much data as it likes. Each SIM card can send and receive up to 100 texts per day and use up to 75 GB of data each month.

Activation Charge & Security Deposit
If you want a BSNL postpaid connection, you should be aware of the additional fees you’ll have to pay in the first billing cycle.
- Activation Charge: The first month’s activation fee for any BSNL postpaid plan is Rs 100. There will be a one-time fee associated with setting up your new connection. The Rs 100 stated does not include GST, therefore you will additionally be required to pay any relevant GST on top of that.
- Security Deposit: According to your needs, a security deposit is required for all BSNL postpaid plans as shown below:
- Local + STD: Rs 500
- Local + STD + ISD: Rs 2000
- Local + STD + ISD + International Roaming: Rs 5000
This amount excludes GST, and you will have to bear the GST charges on the security deposit.
Advance Rental Option
BSNL’s Advance Rental option allows you to prepay for a year’s or two’s worth of service at a discounted rate.
If you pay for a full year in advance, you’ll only be charged for 11 months. Instead of paying for a full year of service up front, you’ll only have to pay for 21 months if you want to pay for two years at once.
